• First select a path (or paths) by clicking any point or section of the path
• You can option-click to select all points in the path, but it's only necessary to select one point.
• Go to Paint in the Style menu... this brings up the Paint Dialog box.
• You can fill a path with no shade (this makes it transparent), white, or a percentage of black for gray scale.
• Stroke options describe how the lines making up your path are drawn.
• The default stroke is None... if set to White or some percentage of black, you can also set the line's weight, how lines end, and types of dashed lines.*

----- text -----
The "weight" of a line is the line's thickness. Entering a "1" in the dialog box will give you a one point wide line.
The dashed line option lets you set how long (again, in points) to make the dashes and the space between dashes.
Line end options only have effect if the path is open. The type of join affects closed paths.
